I-FANCY EMPOWERMENT LIMITED (iFancy) is a non-governmental organization that promotes workers’ social justice using a legal empowerment approach. The organization focuses on helping workers, particularly youth, women, and refugees in white-collar and blue-collar jobs, understand and utilize existing labor laws to assert their rights, combat exploitation, advocate for better working conditions, and achieve a decent standard of living. iFancy accomplishes this by providing knowledge about workers’ legal entitlements and offering pro bono legal services to assist those whose rights have been violated. iFancy is committed to addressing unemployment, particularly among youth and women. One of our key initiatives, the online African Community Job Market, connects skilled individuals with job opportunities in their local communities, significantly increasing job availability for these groups. Additionally, we collaborate with government agencies and ministries in Uganda to advocate for a minimum wage, establish fair payment standards, and promote a decent standard of living for all workers, with a special focus on youth and women. We are committed to addressing unemployment among youth and women by connecting skilled individuals with job opportunities in their local communities.
