iFancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Officer to lead our efforts in enhancing the visibility of our job search website across major search engines, including Google, Yahoo, and Bing. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of proven experience in SEO, along with a comprehensive portfolio that demonstrates successful projects resulting in measurable traffic and conversion improvements. This role requires a deep understanding of keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO. The successful applicant must be able to analyze and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights. Proficiency in various SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz, is crucial for tracking performance metrics and driving strategic decisions. Expertise in link-building strategies, content optimization, and local SEO is essential for maximizing our website’s reach and effectiveness. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with content creators and web developers, ensuring the cohesive execution of SEO initiatives. Additionally, we collaborate with government agencies and ministries in Uganda to advocate for a minimum wage, establish fair payment standards, and promote a decent standard of living for all workers, with a special focus on youth and women.
